Mercy Connect is currently seeking an experienced Accountant to join our Finance Team in Albury. This is a permanent, full-time position within the Accounting category. As an Accountant at Mercy Connect, you will be responsible for a range of financial tasks and duties, including:
- Applying best practice accounting principles and practices which contributes to the overall effectiveness of Mercy Connect’s financial operations.
- Preparing and analysing financial reports which contribute to organisational compliance and effective financial decision making.
- Building trust and improving efficiency, quality, and productive of finance related activities by striving for continuous improvement of self, systems and processes.
- Fostering positive business partnerships through the provision of solution focused support to all stakeholders.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. A professional accounting qualification is preferred, along with proficiency in accounting software systems.
